1) What was your FIRST video game console?
NES

2) Name a few games you played on said console.
Mario Brothers 1, 2 and 3 and DUCK HUNT~!

3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS1, Sega Saturn, PS2… 7 o.O;

4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
No >.>;

5) Do you think Capcom is a F---ING awesome company with kickass character designs?
Dunno?

6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?
NAPKINS! USE THEM MOTHERFUCKER.

7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG?
Persona 3 <33333333

8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
I prefer 2D from pre gamecube/ps2 and 3D post those two systems. FF7 may be a great game but it’s fucking ugly.

9) Are you an SNK fan?
No.

10) Are you good at DDR?
I used to be ;^;

11) Who wants to kick that dog's ass from Duck Hunt?
I liked him when I was little and still owned this game. I would probably hate him now.

12) Have you skipped out on important events in life because of video games?
No…

13) Do you listen to video game music?
Not usually… I like my music to have lyrics so I do have some OPs like the KH openers and the Grandia 3 OP song.

14) Have you ever cosplayed a VG character?
No… I’m to lazy to cosplay well so I just don’t.

15) Have you ever been in an arcade playing a fighting game, KICKING ASS, and then some 6 year old Asian kid comes in and OWNS YOU??
No… I have managed to beat all of Soul Calibur at the arcade though :3 ON ONE QUARTER BITCHES.

16) Name three games you would love to see remakes of if it was done properly.

I don’t really have any games I’m nostalgic about that I think would be made better by being remade.

17) Mario or Sonic?

Hm… VG-wise I liked Mario better but I liked more stuff from the Sonic franchise. I have tapes from elementary of me reading the Sonic books aloud and I adored the 2 TV series that used to play.

18) When a movie shows up in the theaters, let's use Spider-man as an example, are you likely to buy the GAME version?
No. Because they are always shoddy and terrible.

19) What is your LEAST favorite genre of video games? (ex. fighting, sports, shooters, etc.)
FPSes!!!! They give me motion sickness :/ I also have no interest in sports or racing games no matter how many of my favourite characters are involved (fuck you Mario racing/golf/tennis/Olympics/soccer/wtfever else they made).

20) Is there a game out there that you feel was unique and didn't get enough love?
Okami~ ‘nuff said.

21) Have you ever verbally abused a game because you couldn't beat one of the levels and/or bosses?
All the time >.>;

22) Do you own any VG apparel?
Nah.

23) What are your thoughts on the live-action Super Mario Bros movie?
… This is the first I am hearing of it and I am wishing that I had been able to be ignorant for longer.

24) On that note, what did you think about the live-action Street Fighter movie?
There was one?

25) Who's hottest out of the KOF chicks?
King <3 So androgynous hawt~

26) Do you say "old-school" a lot when you're having a VG conversation with others?
…shhhhh.

27) Have you ever lent someone a game and they returned it to you damaged?
No. That is because I don’t share though.

28) Do you own any imported games?
Not yet :( Pokemon Platinum JP is in the mail though!

29) In this scenario, let's pretend you're going to get a video game tattoo! What would you get and where?
…I would get a full sleeve based on Bunnie Rabbot’s cyborg arm in the Sonic TV series.

30) Have you ever cried after you beat a game? If so why?
Ever single fucking game that I have ever played on the PS2 ;_;

I labeled this a sketch journal like... months ago? And now I'm finally going to use it as such.

I've been burned out on art for so long and I think the only thing that will really get me back in the habit is drawing everyday. To facilitate this I have re-opened my Gaia art shop (Here for those who hang around Gaia) and starting Christmas Day I will be posting at least one sketch a day.

I will not be pushing myself to fully finish these but once in a while I may post a finished piece.

So that's it :3 My slightly early New Years resolution.

I was on the bus going to school this morning when moo and three crotchdroppings get on. This bus is for students of my highschool almost exclusively. It is a city bus but it only goes to our school. They got on any ways and I ended up drawing a line straight through the picture I was working on because the oldest, a boy of about 5 or 6, screeched. An ear piercing, I'm-being-murdered kind of shriek.

"I HATE THE BUS!!!"

The mother tells him to be quiet since all us students are being so nice as to allow him to be on our bus (not our choice!!). He continues to be a brat until we're almost to the transit centre. The bus driver finally gets off her ass to tell him to STFU but in nicer terms. Does he shut up? If you guessed yes you'd be very optimistic but very wrong.

His mother now tells him to be quiet again and he *punches* her in the cheek. I was sitting right behind them and I just... I was shocked. It was disgusting. "Oh don't hit mommy! That hurts mommy's feelings!"

Yeah, great way to discipline your little bastard. The two girls she had with her were fine until the little boy *bit* the little girl in the stroller. Like WTF!?

Then I went to Japanese and made sushi and sang karaoke badly so my bad mood is gone.

x-posted to <ahref="http://www.livejournal.com/community/childfree/">Childfree</a>

Ganked the from kitsuneslinky's journal. It's a handwriting evaluation thingeh...

------------------------------
Amanda has a healthy imagination and displays a fair amount of trust. She lets new people into her circle of friends. She uses her imagination to understand new ideas, things, and people.

Amanda has a temper. She uses this as a defense mechanism when she doesn't understand how to handle a situation. Temper is a hostile trait used to protect the ego. Temper can be a negative personality trait in the eyes of those around her.

Amanda is sarcastic. This is a defense mechanism designed to protect her ego when she feels hurt. She pokes people harder than she gets poked. These sarcastic remarks can be very funny. They can also be harsh, bitter, and caustic at the same time.

Amanda is a practical person whose goals are planned, practical, and down to earth. This is typical of people with normal healthy self-esteem. She needs to visualize the end of a project before she starts. she finds joy in anticipation and planning. Notice that I said she plans everything she is going to do, that doesn't necessarily mean things go as planned. Amanda basically feels good about herself. She has a positive self-esteem which contributes to her success. She feels she has the ability to achieve anything she sets her mind to. However, she sets her goals using practicality-- not too "out of reach". She has enough self-confidence to leave a bad situation, yet, she will not take great risks, as they relate to her goals. A good esteem is one key to a happy life. Although there is room for improvement in the confidence catagery, her self-perception is better than average.

Because Amanda has sharp needle pointed 'm' and 'n' humps, she has a very sharp mind. She instantly sizes up situations, making instant decisions. She thinks and evaluates circumstances very rapidly. Many people with this type of mind are geniuses, thus she may be seen as highly intelligent. Amanda is often irritated by slow talkers or slow thinkers. If she drives, she gets irritated by slow drivers in the fast lane. She quickly becomes bored when being taught on the level of the slowest student in class. She may be on problem number three when the rest of the class is on problem one. Amanda is curious and very active. In fact, in school she might have been a trouble maker because she thought so much faster than the other kids, she finished her work first, thus having plenty of time on her hands to make trouble!

Amanda is secretive. She has secrets which she does not wish to share with others. She intentionally conceals things about herself. She has a private side that she intends to keep that way, especially concerning certain events in her past.

Amanda will demand respect and will expect others to treat her with honor and dignity. Amanda believes in her ideas and will expect other people to also respect them. She has a lot of pride.

Amanda is moderately outgoing. Her emotions are stirred by sympathy and heart rendering stories. In fact, she can be kind, friendly, affectionate and considerate of others. She has the ability to put herself into the other person's shoes. Amanda will be somewhat moody, with highs and lows. Sometimes she will be happy, the next day she might be sad. She has the unique ability to get along equally well with what psychology calls introverts and extroverts. This is because she is in between. Psychology calls Amanda an ambivert. She understands the needs of both types. Although they get along, she will not tolerate anyone that is too "far out." She doesn't sway too far one way or the other. When convincing her to buy a product or an idea, a heart rendering story could mean a great deal to her. She puts herself in the same situation as the person in the story, yet she will not buy anything that seems overly impractical or illogical. Amanda is an expressive person. She outwardly shows her emotions. She may even show traces of tears when hearing a sad story. Amanda is a "middle-of-the-roader," politically as well as logically. She weighs both sides of an issue, sits on the fence, and then will decide when she finally has to. She basically doesn't relate to any far out ideas and usually won't go to the extreme on any issue.

People that write their letters in an average height and average size are moderate in their ability to interact socially. According to the data input, Amanda doesn't write too large or too small, indicating a balanced ability to be social and interact with others.

Amanda can be defiant. She sometimes has the attitude that if someone doesn't like it the way she is doing it, then they can just "go to hell!" This trait may reveal itself in a rebellious nature that is always ready to resist forces which she thinks are infringing upon her freedom of action.

Amanda has a desire for attention. People around Amanda will notice this need. She may fulfill this need by a variety of ways depending on her own character.
------------------------------

So yeah, it's got me right on. http://www.handwritingwizard.com/

I'm looking forward to Halloween as I believe Kitsune is making my costume this time around (I say believe because she hasn't mentioned anything to me yet... will talk to her tomorrow...). I've been busy so not much art wise has happened. There is one thing but I'm kind of afraid to post it here >.>; More will come soon since I've had mad inspriation lately.

The Bellrose Anime Festival was most awesome. I danced the Para Para but I was the suck >.>; But it was fun so I was the happy! God times were had but Kitsune's fish died and Neko was kind of sick :(

Today I went to some wierd festival thing with my friends and got some good bargains on second hand CDs. I also bought Demon Diary 2 which makes me happy in my heart.
Okay so yes... this is my first entry. Booyah! And of course it would be about the only super shiny cool thing that hs happened to me in the time I have had this journal. This event is Animethon 11! It was soooooo bloody fun! I still haven't calmed down despite the fact it's been over for 19 or so hours o.O;

Day 1:
I cosplayed on saturday as Yomiko Readman from 'Read or Die' and people recognized me ;-;!! It was a fairly good day, mostly wandering and taking pictures and such. We started the day by watching the opening ceremonies which featured te 'Kito no Taiko' Taiko group. They rocked hard XD!
Kitsune, Neko, and I were kinda' sad 'cos we couldn't go to the dealers room till 3:00 (due to it being preferred access until that point...) but were very happy when it opened not at 3:00 but at 1:00 o.O!!! Big lucky! I bought 2 CDs (Hikaru No Go and Gravitation/Kotani Kinya), 2 posters (DNAngel and Naruto), 2 (can you sense a pattern?) how to Draw Manga books ('Volume 1' and 'Couples'), and a package of manga paper! I wanted to get a plushie but all the toys were really bloody expensive >_>;
For anime we watched R.O.D. TV (which was funny as hell btw XD) and Naruto which was badly badly subbed with many spelling errors and left out words >_>'. I still prefer the manga though... Sasuke is less smiley in the manga... Anywhooo...oh! We also went to a 'Gothic Lolita Tea Party' and I drew a picture which everyone signed. I will scan/ send that out soon.

Day 2:
On this day there was much wandering and much art and much other stuff! I did not cosplay on sunday >_>;. First thing we did was check out he Karaoke contest which I really wish I had entered now -.-;. There were some really good singers but most of them were not so good. I'm still impressed that they all had the ball to get up on stage like that though.
We then went to the sunday Goth Lolita Tea party. I sat off to the side and drew stuff and listened to Kotani Kinya ^^. I also took a picture of the tea party.
We then went into artists alley and Kitune got her picture drawn by one of the girls from the tea party. Neko had actual bought a print from the same girl the day before and Kitsune bought like four afterwords -.-;.
We then went to the Dealers Room again and I picked up a Gravitation Manga, a FAKE! Manga and 2 more posters (Prince of Tennis and Hikaru No Go).
We then headed outside and did a photo shoot of sorts before heading back inside and going to artists alley again. Neko went and got her picture drawn by another girl from the tea party and I went to get something coloured by Nanashigriff (go find her on Deviant art and shower her in compliments). She did such an awesome job with Cheshire!

And that's the end of that. I can't believe I have to wait 12 months to do it again :( Next year I wanna do so much stuff! Be in artists alley, enter the Karaoke contest, dress up better... Waaah! I have so much planning to do! On second thought... maybe it's better that I have 12 months. Ja ne!
